ALL ON 4 and ALL ON 6 are the fastest and most popular method of placing dental implants in toothless jaws. It is based on the immediate loading of dental implants, which means you really get fixed teeth within 3 days:

What is the protocol for ALL ON 4 and ALL ON 6 therapy?

ALL ON 4 and ALL ON 6 are divided into 2 phases within 4 to 6 months.

All our patients that are coming from abroad can expect to make 2 trips in the timeframe of 6-8 months. Your first trip will last for a couple of days, depending on your individual case, while second trip’s stay is 7 days.

If the patient is already toothless, the protocol follows precise timing. If the patient still has some teeth that need to be extracted, then dentist Ivan Antolković assesses whether immediate implantation is possible (placing 4 to 6 dental implants immediately after tooth extraction) or whether it is necessary to wait for 2 months for the gum tissue and bone to heal after tooth extraction. Whenever possible, dentist Ivan Antolković will place 6 dental implants.

It is important to note that greater number of dental implants improves stability of final dental solution, but it does not increase the price of your therapy plan!

In this article, we continue with an example where immediate implantation is possible.
This means that 4 to 6 dental implants are placed in the patient’s first visit, and impressions are taken for a temporary fixed dental bridge.

Within 48 to 72 hours, the patient undergoes several fittings and returns to Dental Center 4Smile, where dentist Ivan Antolković attaches a temporary fixed bridge reinforced with metal to the dental implants.

This temporary fixed bridge is made of a titanium base and composite teeth. It is secured to the dental implants with screws. Composite is lighter than ceramic, thus not overloading the dental implants and allowing for unimpeded osseointegration.

In just 3 days, the patient regains the feeling of natural teeth and improves their quality of life.

After 3 to 6 months, the patient returns for their definitive teeth. This time, a ceramic bridge is placed, which can be made of metal-ceramic crowns, zirconium-ceramic crowns, or solid zirconium crowns, depending on the patient’s preferences and possibilities.

Maintenance of ALL ON 4 and ALL ON 6 work

ALL ON 4 and ALL ON 6 dental prostheses require regular and proper oral hygiene and regular visits to the dentist. 

The ALL ON 4 or ALL ON 6 dental bridge is secured with screws, allowing dentist Ivan Antolković to remove your bridge during regular check-ups and clean it professionally. This further enhances the longevity of your new smile.

Every dental therapy is individual, the above are the basic therapy protocols. Sometimes, therapy may take longer, but it depends solely on the patient’s initial condition.
