In this week’s blog of Dental Center 4Smile, dentist Ivan Antolković and entrepreneur Ana Munitić Antolković will share their story about founding the dental practice Dental Center 4Smile.
Since I began working in dentistry, I wanted to have my own practice. After completing my internship at the Health Center, I worked for several years in a smaller practice. Then I moved to a larger clinic where I spent seven years working in dental tourism and acquired most of my practical knowledge and skills. Through my work, I met Ana, my current wife and business partner. She had the knowledge I lacked when it came to starting my own company. Together, we encouraged one another and decided to take the risk of leaving a good, stable job and starting from scratch.
TIMELINE
In 2017, we rented a small dental office at Bužanova 8a. Although the space was not our own, we poured every emotion into it together to make it as pleasant as possible for our patients. Even though we were all a bit cramped there, a warm atmosphere could be felt-one that our patients recognized and rewarded with their trust.
In 2020, the time came for us to become fully independent. After a long search, we found a place that captured our imagination and ideas. There I could see the continuation of our dream.
What you wish for from the very beginning is to have something of your own. In a very short time that wish-along with great effort, hard work, and sacrifice-led us to our own space. Best of all, it was on the same street, at Bužanova 6a!
By offering a unique and relaxing atmosphere with the most modern equipment, we wanted to provide a service that goes beyond the usual experience many patients are accustomed to.
We wanted to convey our cheerful spirit and relaxed atmosphere to the dental office itself. The architects from 4Uha helped us achieve this, truly managing to translate who we are into the design of the space.

Personally, I am very demanding and do not accept half-measures.
That is why I want every one of our patients to experience the level of care and attention I would wish for myself.
We wanted our treatments to be carried out to perfection, in order to achieve exceptional results and long-term solutions.
We also wanted our patients to feel warmth and support throughout the entire practice, so that their experience would be as pleasant as possible.
We want our patients to feel at home-cared for and looked after in an environment that helps them relax.
