Individual cases allow us to place bone grafts into the extraction wound during the process of extraction. This procedure augments the potential volume of the alveolar bone.
Such procedures include bone grafts, natural bone tissue and, in most cases, blood plasma (PRGF).
PRGF – THE USE OF PLASMA RICH IN GROWTH FACTORS
This technology is based on the formulation and use of the patient’s own cells, their biological activity, growth factors and fibrin biomaterial, and used for the stimulation and acceleration of wound healing and tissue regeneration.
The potential of this technology lies in the global effect of platelet-derived growth factors, which affect a range of biological processes that stimulate cell migration, growth and morphogenesis. They also accelerate the production of biodegradable fibrin matrix, which serves as a temporary “mold” for stimulating tissue regeneration in the affected area.
