We recently looked back nostalgically at all the preparations for opening our private dental practice in Zagreb. Some of our patients asked how we decided on the name Dental Center 4Smile, so we decided to share the story with everyone.
After many years of experience in dentistry, working in private dental clinics, Ivan Antolković decided to start his own practice. One of the key reasons for this decision was his desire to carry out treatments from beginning to end, which is often not possible in larger systems. Large private dental clinics usually employ several doctors and the work is divided among them. The doctor who begins a treatment does not always have the opportunity to follow the patient throughout the entire therapy.
Dentist Ivan Antolković from Zagreb wanted to create smiles from start to finish, to be independent, and to ensure an individual approach for every patient. His goal was to give patients his full attention while finding the ideal solution based on their health needs and financial possibilities.
There was certainly no shortage of excitement while preparing to open his own private dental practice in Zagreb. Dr. Ivan Antolković thought about everything, including the name of the practice. He knew he wanted to position his clinic as a Dental Center, and he wanted the name itself to be recognizable to everyone and, of course, connected to smiles and oral health.
Two names made it to the final round:
4Smile
Splendent
Why 4Smile?
Short, appealing, appropriate, and easy to remember.
Why Splendent?
“Splendent” means shining or radiant, which is an obvious connection to good oral health. It was also interesting because of the second syllable –dent, which directly refers to teeth.
So why did the name Dental Center 4Smile win?
Simply because everything dentist Ivan Antolković does ultimately leads to one thing – the patient’s smile.
And so today, Dental Center 4Smile in Zagreb operates like one big family. That same spirit is reflected in our relationship with patients – we see each person as a new member, and we are happiest when our family is satisfied.
We combine skilled hands and big hearts with one goal: creating smiles all around us.
